Our cremation urns are handcrafted wooden cremation urns made from many types of quality hardwood on a wood lathe here in Ocala, FL. We make wood cremation urns in many different sizes for adults, children, and pets.
Our urns can be personalized by wood burning a name, date, or graphics on the urn. We can also inlay a photo on the urn if you prefer.
Our urns for cremation may also be used as burial urns, meaning they can be buried at a cemetery of your choice. Some families choose to keep the urn in their home, and some choose to bury them at the cemetery. It depends on what the wishes of the deceased were, and if they had a cemetery plot. There are no differences between urns for cremation and burial urns. They are one in the same. Some cemeteries request that a burial vault is needed for burial urns to bury a family member in their cemetery and some do not.
When choosing unique cremation urns for a family member you will need to know what the approximate weight of your loved one was. 1 pound of body weight equals 1 cubic inch. The interior of an urn is measured in cubic inches.
For example- If your loved one weighed 125 pounds you would need at least a 125 cubic inch urn. If your loved one weighed 180 pounds you would need at least a 180 cubic inch urn.
