Our dogs love their hand made dog blankets, they hate when we take it away from them for a day to throw it in the washing machine! Their blanket is their dog bed, it's where they sleep every day. They snuggle up in their blanket just like they would in a dog bed. And they seem to like their blanket better than a regular dog bed.
With a blanket they can use their paws and fluff it up and move it around to suit them. Our Bichon dog fluffs his up all of the time. Sometimes he moves it around until he has himself all covered up. It's just so cute and funny at the same time how dogs do this with their blankets.
